- Choose your X-Men Sueprhero and an AI/2nd Player Superhero to enter any stage of your choosing. Clear the area of constantly spawning enemies as you try to get closer to the Supervillain at the end of each stage. All levels are played Top-Down
- Gameplay
- The most interesting part of the X-men are their unique powers. How unique does each character feel?
- Wolverine - Melee combat
- Colossus - Melee combat
- Nightcrawler - Melee but can walk through walls (loses health)
- Cyclops - Projectile combat
- Storm - Projectile combat and can fly
- Iceman - Projectile combat and can fly
- 2 player because the X-Men are always a team, how did the concept pan out?
- You can easily be screwed if your teammate isn’t nightcrawler because AI can get stuck.
- AI feels like a liability, maybe they should’ve taken note from TMNT and made it so you could cycle through the X-Men characters by pausing
- if you can kill one type of enemy you can kill them all
- According to the back of the box It’s up to you to defeat Magneto of course that’s if you can even find him
- Hidden code after beating each level plus needing the box
