- They always do Hit and Run making outs likely

- 2 pitches. Control the ball after release

- Pressing B automatically runs the player to the base
- Jumping like animations if nearly caught
- Errors are possible and throwing errors
- Really hard to catch flyballs
- Substitutions are possible, but not as in depth. No setting the roster beforehand
- Presentation is lacking and the music isnt great either

- Namco developed and released Pro Yakyuu Family Stadium for the Family Computer on December 10, 1986.
- Atari Games released a Nintendo VS. System arcade machine of Family Stadium named Atari R.B.I. Baseball in 1987
- Tengen is a subsidiary of Atari so that’s how RBI makes it to the NES
- RBI Baseball 2 and 3 will come to the NES in 1990 and 1991

- In 2014, Major League Baseball Advanced Media, the digital arm of MLB, revived the name for a new series of MLB games featuring arcade-style gameplay influenced by the original series.
